Brewhouse & Liquor System Upgrade
Mountain Culture Beer Co – Emu Plains


Triplenine Group delivered the mechanical installation and process piping for the brewhouse and liquor system upgrade at Mountain Culture Beer Co’s Emu Plains brewery.


This project formed part of a major expansion to increase production capacity, while preparing the site for a future automated CIP system.



Scope of Work



Liquor System Upgrade

  • Installation of new hot liquor tank (HLT) and cold liquor tank (CLT)

  • Installation of heat exchangers, pumps, and automated valves

  • Fabrication and installation of stainless steel process piping (304 & 316)

  • Integration of water, steam, condensate, and air services

  • Provision for future CIP system connection

Brewhouse Installation

  • Installation of brewhouse vessels:

    • Whirlpool, wort kettle, lauter tun, mash tun

  • Assembly of prefabricated platforms and pipework

  • Installation of:

    • Wort cooler skid

    • Vapour stacks and roof penetrations

    • Spent grain handling system

  • Tie-in to existing plant services



Outcome


The upgrade delivered a modern brewhouse and supporting infrastructure, providing:

  • Increased production capacity

  • Improved process efficiency

  • A scalable platform for future expansion
