Project – Biologics Plant of the Future
Cost – $2.2 Million
Estimated Duration – Due for completion late 2012
Workforce – Total at peak of project – 12 personnel

Scope

TRIPLENINE was contracted by Watpac to provide detailed design, equipment and material selections, fabrication, installation and commissioning of all process services based on design works carried out by Architect.
Systems include the following:

  • WFI pre-treatment, storage and distribution
  • Steam distribution, condensate collection
  • Compressed air generation and distribution
  • Process waste storage & treatment
  • Clean room service columns, service panels, pass through ports

Construction challenges

Our main challenges were logistics and location of key groups involved in the project. Design detailing, equipment selection and long lead time items were all on the critical path of the project, some of the major pieces of critical equipment had to be sourced from overseas so it was crucial to gather the require information and design data in order to place orders and give enough time for fabrication and shipping and still meet project deadlines

Leadership in Safety

A key requirement of the project is to provide evidence of 10% of training per man hours accumulated throughout the project, TRIPLENINE has developed a plan to accommodate client requirements.
