Key Features of this Project
An innovative and creative approach to layout planning was essential to fit all plant requirements into the limited footprint of the site.
Custom designs to accommodate Archie Rose’s unique production processes, including:
2 copper pot whisky stills with neck cooling jackets which allow the team to adjust the still for different malts
Copper pot and column hybrid vacuum stills which mean the team can ‘cold distil’ botanicals for gin, preventing damage to the flavour. Multiple configurations for each still mean different botanicals are distilled differently.
Advanced energy efficiency, reducing power, gas and water usage per litre of alcohol by 30% over the original Rosebery site.
